Description
Celebrate the enduring spirit of the United States Coast Guard with this USCG grommet flag. The design features the iconic ‘We the People’ text and the year 1776, symbolizing the nation’s founding. A majestic eagle, draped in American flags, soars above the flag’s stripes, while the Great Seal of the Coast Guard adorns the top. The layout combines bold stars, vibrant stripes, and patriotic emblems, evoking a sense of pride and service. This flag is a powerful reminder of the Coast Guard’s unwavering commitment to duty and honor. Raise it as a Coast Guard veteran grommet flag on the flagpole, or hang it in the garage or man cave as a red, white and blue statement. It makes a heartfelt gift for Coast Guard veterans and a Father’s Day gift or Memorial Day decoration that honors their service.

How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
