Description
Showcasing pride and honor, the U.S Marine Flag features a bold emblem of the Marine Corps with an eagle and globe, surrounded by a ring of stars and stripes. The design includes the word ‘Veteran’ in distressed lettering, evoking a sense of service and remembrance. The flag’s layout combines the American flag’s iconic stars and stripes with the Marine Corps insignia, symbolizing dedication and valor. Display it as a Marine veteran garden flag or Marine veteran house flag to bring a veteran pride touch to the yard, porch or front door. A thoughtful gift for Marine veterans, it is just as fitting as a patriotic gift for dad or Armed Forces Day display.
Fly It Proud for Those Who Served
- Our freedom and unity were earned by generations of heroes who stepped forward when the nation needed them.
- Every day, America’s service members stand watch so the rest of us can live safe and free. Raising this flag is a simple, visible way to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
- A meaningful gift and a lasting tribute to the veterans in your life.
How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
