Description
Show your pride and dedication to the U.S. Coast Guard with this striking Garden and House Flag. The design features a bold diagonal stripe of barbed wire with the words ‘U.S. Coast Guard’ in gold lettering, overlaying a vibrant American flag motif. The U.S. Coast Guard emblem, complete with anchors and ropes, is prominently displayed in the bottom left corner, surrounded by a blue and gold rope border. This flag conveys a strong sense of service, honor, and readiness. Display it as a Coast Guard veteran garden flag or Coast Guard veteran house flag to bring a patriotic touch to the yard, porch or front door. A thoughtful gift for Coast Guard veterans, it is just as fitting as a Veterans Day gift or Father’s Day gift.
Fly It Proud for Those Who Served
- Our freedom and unity were earned by generations of heroes who stepped forward when the nation needed them.
- Every day, America’s service members stand watch so the rest of us can live safe and free. Raising this flag is a simple, visible way to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
- A meaningful gift and a lasting tribute to the veterans in your life.
How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
