Description
Celebrate Memorial Day with a powerful USMC American flag that honors our heroes. The design features a bold eagle with outstretched wings, clad in the American flag, soaring above a silhouette of soldiers. The layout includes the phrase ‘In Honor of Our Heroes’ and the United States Marine Corps emblem, surrounded by stars and stripes. The feeling it conveys is one of deep respect, pride, and remembrance for those who have served and sacrificed. Display it as a Marine veteran garden flag or Marine veteran house flag to bring a veteran pride touch to the yard, porch or front door. It makes a heartfelt gift for Marine veterans and a Veterans Day gift or Independence Day decoration that honors their service.
Fly It Proud for Those Who Served
- Our freedom and unity were earned by generations of heroes who stepped forward when the nation needed them.
- Every day, America’s service members stand watch so the rest of us can live safe and free. Raising this flag is a simple, visible way to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
- A meaningful gift and a lasting tribute to the veterans in your life.
How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
