Description
This US Army Vietnam Veteran American Flag celebrates service with the bold statement, ‘I Was There, Sometimes I Still Am.’ The design features a majestic eagle with wings spread, symbolizing freedom and strength, set against the backdrop of the American flag. The Vietnam Service Ribbon and the Vietnam Veteran emblem add a touch of historical and patriotic pride. The layout is clean and impactful, with bold lettering and a black background, making it a fitting tribute to those who served and still carry the weight of their experiences. Set it out as a Vietnam veteran garden flag or hang it as a Vietnam veteran house flag for a red, white and blue welcome at the front door. A thoughtful gift for Vietnam veterans, it is just as fitting as an Independence Day decoration or Veterans Day gift.
Fly It Proud for Those Who Served
- Our freedom and unity were earned by generations of heroes who stepped forward when the nation needed them.
- Every day, America’s service members stand watch so the rest of us can live safe and free. Raising this flag is a simple, visible way to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
- A meaningful gift and a lasting tribute to the veterans in your life.
How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
