Description
Showcasing pride and service, this US Navy Veteran Garden and House Flag features a bold design with an American eagle soaring over the stars and stripes. The emblem of the United States Navy is prominently displayed, accompanied by a ship’s wheel and a banner reading ‘United States Navy.’ The layout includes a navy blue background, red and white stripes, and white stars, all adorned with gold accents and a yellow ribbon. This flag conveys a strong sense of honor and remembrance for those who have served in the United States Navy. Set it out as a Navy veteran garden flag or hang it as a Navy veteran house flag for a red, white and blue welcome at the front door. Looking for a meaningful gift for Navy veterans? It also shines as a patriotic gift for dad and Armed Forces Day display.
Fly It Proud for Those Who Served
- Our freedom and unity were earned by generations of heroes who stepped forward when the nation needed them.
- Every day, America’s service members stand watch so the rest of us can live safe and free. Raising this flag is a simple, visible way to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
- A meaningful gift and a lasting tribute to the veterans in your life.
How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
