Description
Celebrate Veteran Day with this patriotic USAF grommet flag. The design features a bold eagle with wings spread, clutching a branch, set against a backdrop of red, white, and blue stripes and stars. The Air Force emblem, along with the text ‘Veteran Day is for me, Memorial Day is for them,’ emphasizes respect and gratitude. This flag conveys a strong sense of pride and honor, honoring military service and sacrifice. As an Air Force veteran grommet flag, it looks great on a flagpole, a porch bracket or a living room wall. Give it as a gift for Air Force veterans, or fly it yourself as a Father’s Day gift and Armed Forces Day display.
Fly It Proud for Those Who Served
- Our freedom and unity were earned by generations of heroes who stepped forward when the nation needed them.
- Every day, America’s service members stand watch so the rest of us can live safe and free. Raising this flag is a simple, visible way to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
- A meaningful gift and a lasting tribute to the veterans in your life.
How to Display a Military Flag
Displaying a flag carries real meaning in the United States, and a few basic rules of etiquette help you do it with respect.
- Never fly a military flag, or any other flag, above the U.S. flag.
- The U.S. flag holds the position of honor at its own right (the viewer’s left); no other flag should be placed to its right.
- When flown together, no other flag should be larger than the U.S. flag.
- On designated days of remembrance, lower the flag to half-staff as directed by the half-staff calendar or by proclamation of the President or your state’s Governor.
The U.S. Flag Code includes more guidelines, but these are the essentials to keep in mind.
